Cover the slot!

The just finished slot cover is the last part of the outer shell in its minimal setup. In my opinion, it would be possible without the printing of the brim.
Once again, it fits.

That is really, really impressive.

Cover on top!

Put the lid on! It just fits. Simply brilliant.

The takeaways:
The rounded edges need tweaking.
The supports (grid, snug, organic) were all difficult to remove. It has to work without them.
Printing on the textured sheet shows a more consistent look.

There are a lot of ideas that will go into the next iteration.

All in all, absolutely gorgeous.

Second half of the butt

Finally, after 7 hours of 3D printing, we finished the second half of the butt, the main shell. The parts fit together pretty well, but need some fine tuning to just snap into place.

Really amazing!
